PPMT-AC - AudioCap Metalized Polypropylene High Voltage

The PPMT AudioCap capacitors are round metalized polypropylene, available in voltages high enough to be ideal for all high-voltage applications, such as power supplies for tube electronics, high-voltage bypassing, high voltage coupling and electrostatic loudspeaker crossovers. They exhibit excellent electrical and environmental characteristics and will provide high quality performance and long life at a reasonable price. In loudspeaker applications these capacitors exhibit a balanced, neutral, and open sound. The gold-plated OFHC leads provide long-term high reliability due to gold’s non-oxidizing properties.

PPMF-AC - AudioCap Metalized Polyproylene

The PPMF AudioCap capacitors are flattened metalized polypropylene. Having electrical properties that are equal to or superior to those of the polystyrene (RT) series, these capacitors are also capable of operating at a higher temperature of 100°C. They are ideal for usage in audio electronics, timing circuits, laboratory equipment, and applications of similar quality. In loudspeaker applications these capacitors exhibit a balanced, neutral, and open sound. The gold-plated OFHC leads provide long-term high reliability due to gold’s non-oxidizing properties.

PPF Alpha - AudioCap Polypropylene & Aluminum (Film/Foil)

The PPF Alpha AudioCap is an excellent film and foil capacitor for all audio circuits and power supplies. It provides low distortion and long-term reliability with excellent electrical and environmental characteristics. In loudspeaker applications these capacitors exhibit upper midrange presence and fast transients. The gold-plated OFHC leads provide long-term high reliability due to gold’s non-oxidizing properties.

RT-AC - AudioCap Polystyrene & Tin (Film/Foil)

The RT series AudioCap of polystyrene and foil capacitors offer very high insulation resistance, with low dielectric absorption, low dissipation factor, and low temperature coefficient. They also have excellent stability making them ideal for all applications in audio except those with extremely high operating temperatures. They make a particularly good bypass capacitor. In loudspeaker applications these capacitors present lower mid-range warmth and soft overtones. The gold-plated OFHC leads provide long-term high reliability due to gold’s non-oxidizing properties.

The TFT AudioCap series of PTFE (Teflon™) and foil capacitors exhibit superb electrical and environmental characteristics. Having electrical properties that allow it to withstand temperatures up to 200°C, these capacitors are ideal for use in in all audio applications.
